Although American Grovers Disease Association is a volunteer social group, every association has basic expenses which it cannot avoid. Beyond that, we plan to engage third-party researchers to provide our members with factual answers to their questions.
Any donation $25 or more, annually, is considered a corporate member and may run for, or be appointed to, an officer position.
The I.R.S. presently considers us to be a Voluntary Health Organization. Please be advised American Grovers Disease Association (AGDA) has been ruled effective April 5, 2024 it is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). Donors can deduct contributions they make to it. Further, AGDA has been classified a public charity.
Little public attention has been given to Grovers Disease since its discovery in 1970. Those afflicted with Grovers Disease have been frustrated by conflicting medical approaches by their medical providers. Down the road we expect to present consensus conferences and scientific research sessions setting a course to a cure and better maintenance of the disease . So, every contribution, however size, helps a great deal.
